Rockstar Games is moving ahead with its official extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI despite an escalating leak campaign tied to a volatile Solana memecoin.
“Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 8 pm BST, giving players the first official extended gameplay presentation ahead of the game’s scheduled Nov. 19 release.
However, the event arrives after an anonymous entity known as CyberLeek spent more than a week publishing purported GTA VI footage.
The group has used the attention to promote CYBERLEEK, a speculative token that reportedly surged around 40,000% in seven days.
CyberLeek began releasing alleged GTA VI material on Aug. 18, including footage of driving, gunfights, nightlife, beaches, and in-game stores. Some clips appear to come from a playable development build, although the full extent of the group’s access remains unverified.
Rockstar has issued copyright takedown requests against some of the material but has not publicly confirmed its authenticity.

Fans nevertheless responded to the planned Netflix premiere by joking that the leaks had already provided an “extended look” at the game.
The campaign reportedly includes paid polls that let tokenholders vote on which footage should appear next. Concerns are now growing that CyberLeek could publish major plot spoilers, including material involving protagonist Lucia.
The Solana-based CYBERLEEK token briefly exceeded a $20-million market capitalization after its extraordinary rally. Reports placed its trading price near $0.028, with the project allegedly generating between $40,000 and $70,000 in transaction fees.
CyberLeek claims the cryptocurrency funds its operations and a secret project. It also said it had burned approximately $1.5 million in developer tokens to counter allegations that the scheme is a pump-and-dump.

Those claims have not been independently verified.
The group has also requested 400 Monero (XMR), worth roughly $165,000, to establish contact regarding advertising opportunities inside future leaked videos.
Take-Two Interactive is pursuing information from Microsoft, Discord, and X that could identify those responsible. Court filings reportedly seek account details, email addresses, IP records, phone numbers, and device identifiers connected to CyberLeek.
Neither Take-Two nor Rockstar has announced plans to delay the Netflix event or GTA VI’s November launch.
J’ai été voir le site de Cyberleek, le hacker de GTA 6, et ce n’est clairement pas un amateur.
Je suis convaincu que ce n’est pas une seule personne, mais bien un groupe de hackers.

The publisher’s decision to maintain the reveal suggests its marketing schedule remains intact, even as leaked footage competes with the official presentation.
For CyberLeek’s tokenholders, however, the Netflix premiere creates a major test. Once Rockstar releases polished gameplay officially, the illicit footage may lose some of its novelty, and the memecoin’s attention-driven rally could lose its primary source of momentum.
