World, the fully onchain prediction market that launched on Solana on July 1 inside Phantom Wallet with Chainlink oracle infrastructure, announced on July 8 that it is migrating its entire ecosystem to Robinhood Chain, seven days after its public debut.
The team’s X post cited careful deliberation over the preceding 24 hours and expressed appreciation to the Solana Foundation and community, without providing a technical explanation for the decision.
update: after careful deliberation from the team in the last 24 hours
world has made the decision to migrate off of solana and onto @RobinhoodCrypto chain
this tactful pivot was not made lightly
our sincere appreciation goes out to the solana foundation and community pic.twitter.com/pfype94W5n

World launched with genuine distribution advantages on Solana. Phantom, the non-custodial wallet where World first appeared, has about 20 million active users. World had replaced Kalshi as Phantom’s prediction market infrastructure, routing users directly from the wallet into onchain event contracts settled through Chainlink Data Streams and the Chainlink Runtime Environment.
Initial markets covered Bitcoin (BTC) price movements and the 2026 FIFA World Cup knockout rounds, timed to capture the tournament’s peak volume.
Jupiter’s Forecast had also entered the Solana prediction market space on June 29, creating a competitive dynamic inside the ecosystem World was joining.
Robinhood Chain launched its mainnet on July 1, seven days before World’s migration announcement. The chain is built on Arbitrum’s technology stack as an Ethereum layer 2 and adopted Chainlink as its official data and cross-chain oracle infrastructure on day one. Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol enables cross-chain connectivity for the multichain ecosystem.
Chainlink Data Streams and Data Feeds power pricing for Robinhood’s Stock Tokens, the tokenized equities that represent the chain’s primary commercial product. 1inch and 0x joined as liquidity aggregation partners at the mainnet launch, with Robinhood reporting more than $2 billion in real-world asset transfer volume processed through its testnet before mainnet.
World’s migration means Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure now underpins the same prediction market platform across two consecutive blockchain deployments, on Solana and then on Robinhood Chain. The Chainlink integration was not a Solana-specific choice. It transfers directly to the new chain, suggesting World’s oracle selection was a product decision independent of the underlying blockchain.
The Solana ecosystem loses a wallet-native prediction market product that had been positioned as its answer to Polymarket and Kalshi. The Robinhood Chain ecosystem gains a prediction market layer on a chain that launched one day earlier, adding a product category that neither Robinhood’s stock token infrastructure nor its liquidity aggregation partners cover.
Whether the anonymous World team’s “last 24 hours” deliberation reflects a commercial arrangement, technical limitations encountered on Solana, or a strategic read on where prediction market volume is heading is not clear from the public record.
