Spiko has launched its Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund (SAFO) tokenized money market fund on Solana, bringing Europe’s largest tokenized money market fund to one of the industry’s most active blockchains. The launch gives eligible investors native onchain access to subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions settled in USDC (USDC), expanding the availability of regulated cash management products on public blockchain infrastructure.
The launch also makes Spiko the first European real-world asset (RWA) issuer to deploy on Solana, adding another regulated financial product to Solana’s growing RWA ecosystem.

SAFO is compliant with the Undertaking for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities and is a money market fund managed by Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager. The fund is regulated under French law and was designed for treasury and collateral management, offering overnight liquidity through fully collateralized total return swaps with major banking counterparties.
Chainlink infrastructure records the fund’s net asset value onchain, allowing investors to verify pricing while using blockchain settlement rails.

Spiko said the fund can now be minted, transferred, and redeemed natively on Solana without relying on wrapped assets or cross-chain bridges. Subscriptions and redemptions settle in USDC rather than relying solely on conventional payment rails.
The company said it processes roughly 500 deposit and redemption requests each day across more than 10,000 active users, making transaction speed and low fees a key consideration.
Solana also gives SAFO holders access to lending markets, collateral management, and other decentralized finance (DeFi) applications that are not typically available through conventional money market fund infrastructure.
Why Solana? We operate at scale: 10,000+ active users, and an average of ~500 deposit+redeem operations processed every day across our funds.⚡️
Solana meets that need perfectly – the throughput, low-cost execution and speed a daily-dealing fund requires, plus a deep DeFi…

The launch arrives as tokenized money market funds continue attracting institutional interest, with asset managers expanding regulated products onto public blockchains instead of limiting them to traditional settlement networks.
That said, adoption remains concentrated among treasury teams, financial firms, and corporate users, while broader retail participation in tokenized funds is still developing.
According to Spiko, SAFO exceeded $800 million in assets under management within three months of launch, while the firm’s combined assets now total about $2 billion.
