Points of Focus

  • Solflare Bridge lets users fund Solana wallets from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and six other networks.
  • Aurora Intents handles cross-chain routing through reusable deposit addresses.
  • Transfers are free for 30 days, then cost 0.1% for stablecoins and 1% for other assets.

Solflare has launched Bridge, a multichain deposit feature that lets users fund a Solana wallet from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and six other networks without opening a separate bridging app. The exchange-style flow reduces the steps required to move assets into Solana and gives Solflare a simpler way to attract funds held on other networks.

Bridge is available across Solflare’s mobile app, web wallet, and browser extension. It assigns a reusable deposit address for each supported source chain and token combination, then delivers the selected token into the user’s Solflare wallet. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Tron, Near, and Base are supported at launch.

Solflare said transfers from Ethereum-compatible networks usually settle in under one minute, while Bitcoin deposits take about 14 minutes. Available destination assets include Solana (SOL) and stablecoins, while other token routes depend on liquidity.

Solflare Bridge uses Aurora and Near Intents

Aurora Intents handles routing, liquidity access, and settlement through Near Intents. Near’s documentation describes an intent system where market makers compete to fill a user’s requested swap before a verifier contract settles the transaction. Aurora Labs said the network has settled more than $23 billion since launch and now processes over $2.3 billion in monthly volume.

Aurora Labs CEO Declan Hannon said users are often more concerned about connecting wallets to unfamiliar apps than completing several steps. He added that permanent deposit addresses give them a process already familiar from exchange transfers.

Simpler deposits still depend on liquidity and routing

Removing wallet connections and repeated approvals cuts several user-facing steps, but cross-chain deposits still depend on external infrastructure. Near Intents’ terms state that its 1Click service may use independent bridges and relayers, does not provide liquidity, and offers no financial guarantee. Other destination tokens are available only when sufficient liquidity exists.

Deposits are free for the first 30 days, capped at $125,000 in waived fees. Solflare will then charge 0.1% for stablecoin-to-stablecoin transfers and 1% for other assets. Bridge became available to all Solflare users on July 29, 2026.
