Rarible has launched a new Solana marketplace with “Claynosaurz” as its first featured collection, reviving its presence on the network with a focus on individual non-fungible token (NFT) communities. The rollout marks a return to Solana for Rarible, which supported NFT trading on the chain in 2022 before Solana later disappeared from its listed marketplace networks.
Rarible returns to Solana with Claynosaurz
Rarible said it spent months building and testing the latest Solana rollout while speaking with project teams about how collections should appear on the marketplace. Claynosaurz is the first featured project, and Rarible said more Solana collections will be added over the coming days and weeks.

The choice gives Rarible a recognizable starting point. Claynosaurz launched on Nov. 22, 2022, with 10,222 collectibles across its original six dinosaur species, according to the project’s official site. Rarible’s live Solana page currently centers Claynosaurz and labels broader collection access as “Coming Soon,” which makes the first phase narrower than a full ecosystem-wide rollout.
The 2026 launch is a Solana return
The launch also marks Rarible’s return to a network it supported several years ago. The company opened a Degenerate Ape Academy community marketplace in April 2022, then added Solana NFT trading to Rarible in July that year. Its July 2025 help-center list of supported chains didn’t include Solana.
That gap makes the latest launch closer to a rebuilt consumer push than a first expansion onto the chain. Rarible had already previewed that push through Gacha Station in July, a Solana-based product offering digital packs tied to tokenized physical collectibles.
Rarible faces an existing Solana NFT market
The open question is whether community-specific presentation can attract activity from collectors who already use established Solana venues. DefiLlama currently lists Tensor and Magic Eden among Solana NFT marketplaces, so Rarible is entering a market with existing trading destinations rather than creating a new category.
Rarible hasn’t disclosed launch-day volume, user targets, or a fixed number of Solana collections for the next phase. Its live Solana page currently features Claynosaurz, while broader collection access remains labeled “Coming Soon.”
