Points of Focus

  • Uniswap crossed 7 million daily swaps for the first time in its history
  • Robinhood Chain volume neared $2B, with one pool driving over 40% of it
  • Protocol fee growth still hasn’t caught up with the swap count surge.

Uniswap crossed 7 million daily swaps for the first time in its history. Blockworks Research analyst Marc Arjoon flagged the milestone directly, noting it marked Uniswap’s two highest-swap days ever.

Founder Hayden Adams confirmed the throughput separately, then pointed to where most of the new activity was actually coming from. That source turned out to be a single, two-month-old network, not broad growth spread evenly across Uniswap’s full footprint.

Uniswap hits its 7 million daily swap record

Arjoon’s data, sourced from Blockworks, showed Uniswap handling roughly 82 swaps per second across its multichain deployment on its busiest day.

A swap count measures transactions, not unique users, dollar volume, or protocol revenue. That distinction matters for how much weight the raw number should carry.

Robinhood Chain volume nears $2 billion on Uniswap

Adams said Uniswap was doing “almost $2b in 24hr volume on Robinhood Chain,” a network that launched barely two months ago. He attached a pool-level breakdown showing exactly where that volume concentrated.

The single largest pool, ETH/USDG, generated $815.7 million in 24-hour volume against just $15.7 million in total value locked (TVL), more than 50 times its own liquidity turned over in a single day.

That one pool alone accounts for more than 40% of the total volume Adams cited. This isn’t broad, even growth across dozens of pools. It’s one pool doing an outsized share of the work.

Uniswap tokenized stocks drive real Robinhood Chain volume

Adams framed the growth as “huge growth in tokenized stocks especially.” The pool data partly supports that framing. NVDA/USDG, SPY/ETH, SPCX/USDG, and QQQ/USDG collectively drove over $100 million in volume, genuine evidence of tokenized equity trading activity on the chain.

The same top-12 list also includes CASHCAT and PONS pairs, each appearing twice. Those are meme-adjacent tokens, not tokenized stocks.

Uniswap protocol fees still lag the swap record

The record swap count and Uniswap’s fee data don’t reconcile cleanly. Monthly protocol fees rose from about $3.1 million in February to $5.1 million in June, real growth, but proportionally far smaller than the swap surge implies.

CryptoSlate’s own reporting, a source outside AlphaWire’s core permitted list and worth independently verifying before publication, flags that public data doesn’t show what share of the record day’s swaps actually reached fee-enabled pools.

The headline milestone and Uniswap’s actual revenue capture from it remain two separate, only loosely connected numbers.

What Uniswap’s swap record actually shows

Uniswap’s 7-million-swap day is real and verifiable, confirmed directly by its own founder. What it represents is narrower than the headline number suggests: one recently launched chain, one dominant pool inside that chain, and a fee base that hasn’t caught up with any of it yet.

Robinhood Chain’s own trajectory, not Uniswap’s broader multichain activity, is the thing actually worth tracking from here.
