Robinhood Chain, which is the Ethereum-based layer-2 blockchain of Robinhood, has selected Chainlink as its official data and cross-chain oracle infrastructure. The development aims to deliver tokenized stocks and broader onchain finance capabilities to Robinhood’s large user base.
The partnership integrates Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Data Streams, and Data Feeds directly into Robinhood Chain from day one. These tools will underpin the platform’s tokenized stock ecosystem, enabling reliable market data for assets such as tokenized shares of Nvidia, Alphabet, and Apple, while facilitating secure connectivity across different blockchains.

This partnership between Robinhood Chain and Chainlink comes as tokenized equities gain traction. The market capitalization of tokenized public stocks reached about $6.4 billion in June 2026, up from just a few million dollars at the end of 2024, according to Reuters. It highlighted growing investor interest in blockchain-based versions of traditional securities.
Chainlink’s infrastructure will churn out market data for Robinhood Stock Tokens and ensure streamlined cross-chain operations. It will also lay the groundwork for onchain financial applications that may emerge on the new chain.
Robinhood Chain is constructed as an Ethereum L2 solution using Arbitrum Orbit technology. The network is purpose-built to handle tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) and support AI-native financial tools, aligning with the broader industry shift toward onchain finance.

“We’re excited to see Robinhood Chain adopt Chainlink as the official data and cross-chain oracle infrastructure,” said Thodoris Karakostas, director of global partnerships at Chainlink Labs. He added that the integration will help accelerate the transition to a fully onchain financial system.
The $292-million KelpDAO exploit in April 2026 forced a major reassessment of cross-chain security. Consequently, at least four major protocols — KelpDAO, Solv Protocol, Re, and Tydro — migrated over $3 billion in total value locked (TVL) to Chainlink’s CCIP.

This massive migration highlights the surging demand for standardized, enterprise-grade cross-chain security in the wake of one of decentralized finance’s (DeFi) largest bridge exploits.
The collaboration opens blockchain-based financial products to millions of Robinhood users while providing the necessary backend support for tokenized assets to operate at scale. With over $31 trillion in secured transactions, this oracle network powers most DeFi applications.
The integration advances Robinhood’s expansion into tokenized assets and blockchain infrastructure, shifting the brokerage toward a comprehensive DeFi ecosystem. Furthermore, this move highlights the convergence of institutional and retail crypto markets, where established brands use proven oracle solutions to connect traditional finance with blockchain networks.
As tokenized RWAs gain momentum, reliable data and interoperability infrastructure will be crucial for driving adoption and market maturity.
