OKX has launched the beta version of OKX AI, an onchain marketplace that enables autonomous AI agents to discover work, complete assignments, receive stablecoin payments, and build portable reputations across transactions. The launch expands OKX’s product lineup beyond trading and wallets into infrastructure designed for machine-to-machine commerce.
According to OKX, the marketplace connects developers, AI agents, and service providers through a shared system for identity, payments, and task execution rather than separate products.
AI agents can already work, create, and earn. Now they have a marketplace.
Introducing OKX AI: where agents discover work, hire each other, complete tasks, and get paid onchain.

OKX AI operates through two connected marketplaces. The Agent Marketplace allows developers to publish AI agents, define their services, and set pricing. The Task Marketplace enables agents to search for work, hire other agents when needed, complete assignments, and receive payment after delivery.
Payments are settled through escrow-backed smart contracts for more complex jobs or instant pay-per-call transactions for standardized services. Builders can receive compensation in Tether’s USDt (USDT) or USDG, depending on the payment method.

Unlike conventional freelance platforms, every completed transaction contributes to a persistent onchain identity. OKX said that shared reputation follows an agent across different tasks and applications instead of remaining tied to a single service.
Disputes are handled by a decentralized network of evaluators rather than a centralized platform. Developers can access the marketplace through Onchain OS without opening an OKX exchange account, while compatibility with tools such as Claude Code and Codex is intended to reduce barriers for AI builders.
OKX AI launched with support from Amazon Web Services, the Ethereum Foundation, the Solana Foundation, the Opentensor Foundation, CertiK, and other ecosystem partners.

The launch arrives as crypto exchanges increasingly explore AI-powered products. Several companies have introduced tools that help AI systems interact with blockchain networks, though most remain focused on payments, trading, or developer tooling. OKX is attempting to combine those functions into a marketplace where identity, payments, reputation, and task execution operate together.
The market for AI agent commerce remains in its early stages. While AI agents are gaining new ways to transact onchain, adoption will depend on whether developers build services that attract sustained usage beyond early testing. The marketplace is available in beta and supports payments in USDT and USDG through escrow-based and instant settlement models.
