Ripple is aiming to reach a $1-billion revenue run rate by the end of 2026, according to CEO Brad Garlinghouse, marking one of the clearest indicators yet of the company’s ambitions to grow beyond its historical reliance on XRP-related activity.
The target, which Garlinghouse emphasized excludes XRP holdings on Ripple’s balance sheet, highlights the firm’s strategy of building a diversified financial infrastructure business focused on payments, custody, liquidity, stablecoins, and institutional services.
The news comes as XRP (XRP) is struggling to increase, but its downward phase seems to be off, with a stabilization keeping the price at around $1.15.
Ripple’s expansion strategy has accelerated over the past year through a series of acquisitions and product launches aimed at institutional clients.
Among the most notable moves was the company’s $1.25-billion acquisition of prime broker Hidden Road in 2025. The deal brought clearing, credit, and prime brokerage capabilities into Ripple’s ecosystem while providing access to a platform that reportedly clears around $3 trillion in annual trading volume.

The company has also increased its focus on Ripple USD (RLUSD), its dollar-pegged stablecoin designed for enterprise settlement and collateral management. Ripple recently expanded RLUSD’s use cases into emerging areas such as AI-driven payments and machine-to-machine transactions on the XRP Ledger.
Beyond payments, Ripple continues to build services around custody, treasury management, liquidity provisioning, and digital asset infrastructure, targeting banks and financial institutions seeking regulated access to blockchain-based settlement systems.
Ripple’s growth ambitions coincide with ongoing regulatory developments in the United States.
The proposed CLARITY Act advanced through the US Senate Banking Committee in May and could provide clearer rules governing digital asset businesses if ultimately passed into law.
Garlinghouse has repeatedly argued that regulatory certainty is necessary for banks and traditional financial institutions to increase participation in crypto-related services.

A more defined regulatory framework could support Ripple’s broader product suite, including payments, stablecoins, tokenized settlement, liquidity management, and custody services.
The company has also moved deeper into AI-powered financial infrastructure.
Earlier this month, Ripple unveiled the XRPL AI Starter Kit, enabling AI agents to create wallets, manage balances, and conduct payments using XRP and RLUSD with minimal human intervention.
While Ripple focuses on operational growth, XRP’s market performance is showing early indications of a potential recovery after months of weakness.
XRP was trading near $1.15 on June 14 after experiencing a prolonged correction that saw the token decline more than 20% over the previous month.

According to technical analysts, XRP is currently holding above a critical support zone between $1.05 and $1.15 while forming a bullish divergence on the relative strength index (RSI). The pattern suggests that selling momentum may be fading despite prices remaining near recent lows.
On the daily chart, XRP continues to trade within a broader descending channel, with key resistance levels emerging between $1.35 and $1.55. A breakout into that region could significantly improve market sentiment and potentially signal the beginning of a larger trend reversal.
On the four-hour time frame, XRP has been forming higher lows while maintaining an ascending trendline from the $1.05 support area.
The first major resistance zone sits between $1.18 and $1.21, with additional upside targets at $1.25 and the key $1.27-$1.30 range. A decisive move above those levels would strengthen the bullish case and confirm that buyers are regaining control.

Supporting the recovery narrative, XRP investment products recorded $10.7 million in inflows during the week ending June 12, extending a five-week streak of positive flows even as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) investment vehicles experienced outflows.
Although XRP remains under pressure in the longer term, improving technical signals, rising network activity, and Ripple’s expanding business ecosystem are giving investors fresh reasons to watch the asset closely as the company pursues its ambitious $1-billion revenue target.
