Points of Focus

  • SOL traded near $73.36 after moving between $72.36 and $74.42 over the latest 24 hours.
  • WalletConnect logged $3.82 billion in Solana activity across 492,097 transactions in H1 2026.
  • Kamino and Jupiter accounted for 70% of the value, highlighting strong usage and concentration risk.

Solana (SOL) traded near $73.36 on Thursday after WalletConnect reported $3.82 billion in SOL activity during the first half of 2026. The report added evidence of active capital movement across Solana apps, but SOL showed little immediate price reaction and remained within its latest 24-hour range.

WalletConnect puts Solana activity at $3.82 billion

In a July 29 report, WalletConnect said the value moved through Solana-connected sessions covered 492,097 transactions, 22,428 users, and 766 active apps across 200 countries from January through June 2026. The result ranked Solana as WalletConnect’s third-largest chain by value.

The $3.82 billion represented about 1.84% of WalletConnect’s $207.8 billion total first-half volume. That share gives the headline a useful scale, but the data set measures activity routed through WalletConnect rather than every transaction completed on Solana. It works best as evidence of wallet-to-app access and capital movement, not as a full measure of chain usage.

Kamino and Jupiter dominate SOL flows

The app breakdown shows where most of the reported value was concentrated. Kamino processed $1.4 billion from 719 users, while Jupiter handled $1.23 billion and 121,772 transactions. The figures point to two forms of demand: larger positions moving through Kamino and more frequent trading routed through Jupiter.

Their combined 70% share shows that the reported value remained heavily concentrated in two apps. Lower-value categories attracted wider participation. Liquid staking, lending, perpetual trading, launches, and vesting generated 153,861 transactions from 12,008 users despite moving only $138.3 million.

Solana’s price stays near $73 within 24-hour range

CoinGecko data placed SOL at $73.26, down 1.1% over 24 hours. The token traded between $72.36 and $74.42 during the latest session, leaving those levels as the nearest downside and upside references.

SOL remained near the middle of its latest range, with buyers yet to push the price beyond the $74.42 session high. A move below $72.36 would place the token outside the same 24-hour range on the downside.

By the latest session, SOL had not moved beyond its $72.36-$74.42 range despite the release of WalletConnect’s first-half activity data.
