- SOL futures open interest stands near $6.5B as price holds the $105 area.
Solana (SOL) traded at $105.14 on Sept. 7 after rising as much as 4% intraday on Sunday to $107.33. The move came after US spot Solana ETFs recorded $5.2 million in net outflows Friday. Yet flows for the full week remained positive, weakening the case that one negative session marked a broader pullback in fund demand.

Solana ETF outflow leaves weekly flows $4.9M positive
Farside data show Solana ETFs recorded $5.2 million in net outflows on Sept. 4, with Bitwise’s BSOL losing $2.8 million and Franklin Templeton’s FSOL shedding $2.4 million. The other tracked funds recorded no net movement. That followed a $6.4 million inflow on Sept. 3, led by BSOL and Grayscale’s GSOL.

Adding the daily figures from Aug. 31 through Sept. 4 leaves the week at about $4.9 million in net inflows. Friday reversed the prior session’s gain, but it didn’t turn the week negative. SOL’s move above $107 also came over the weekend, when US-listed ETFs were closed, so no new ETF flow was recorded during the rally.
Solana price holds $105 with futures open interest near $6.5B
CoinGlass data put SOL futures open interest at about $6.53 billion. Open interest measures the value of outstanding futures positions but does not show whether traders are net long or short. A week earlier, open interest stood near $7.00 billion while SOL traded at $102.97. Since then, SOL has risen about 2.1% to $105.14 while open interest has fallen roughly 6.7%, or $470 million. SOL’s rise toward $105 came as futures open interest fell, suggesting traders reduced leverage rather than added to it during the move.
Popular crypto trader TraderSZ said in a Sept. 7 X post that he had added to SOL long positions and expected another trend leg higher. He also set a clean break below $90 as the point that would invalidate the setup.
SOL has since pulled back from Sunday’s $107.33 high toward $105, leaving the current area as the first test of whether buyers can hold the weekend advance.

Outside the ETF market, RWA Foundation said Solana led tracked networks with $348 million in net distributed real-world asset flows over the past 30 days, lifting distributed RWA value on the network to about $4.23 billion.
The metric tracks tokenized assets distributed on Solana and doesn’t represent direct purchases of SOL, making it a network-capital signal rather than a spot-demand measure.
Farside puts cumulative net inflows into US spot Solana ETFs at about $1.306 billion.
