Points of Focus
- Solana traded at $100.85 as US spot SOL ETFs drew $11.01 million on Monday.
- The daily inflow topped the $10.30 million collected across all of last week.
- Futures open interest remains near $6 billion, with futures turnover running more than nine times spot volume.
Solana (SOL) held near $101 on Tuesday, trading at $100.85 after US spot Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) took in $11.01 million on Sept. 14.
The single-session inflow exceeded the $10.3 million collected across the entire previous week, while SOL’s limited price response kept the focus on whether stronger fund flows can translate into a breakaway from the $100 area.

Solana ETF inflow beats last week in one session
SoSoValue data show Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, led Monday with $7.10 million in net inflows, while Grayscale’s GSOL added $3.91 million. The $11.01-million total lifted cumulative net inflows across US spot SOL ETFs to about $1.37 billion, with total net assets near $1.46 billion.

Monday alone brought in about 6.8% more capital than the $10.3 million recorded during the previous week. BSOL accounted for $9.53 million of that earlier weekly total, while Fidelity’s FSOL added $888,400, and GSOL recorded a $1.17-million outflow.
Crypto market account CW highlighted the prior week’s $10.3-million SOL ETF inflow in a Sept. 14 X post. Monday’s larger inflow extends that demand signal, but SOL remaining near $101 shows that stronger ETF flows have yet to produce a comparable price move.

SOL’s price holds $100 as derivatives activity stays heavy
The ETF pickup is arriving while derivatives trading remains far larger than spot activity. CoinGlass data show SOL futures open interest near $5.94 billion, with about $7.05 billion in 24-hour futures volume compared with roughly $757 million in spot turnover. Futures volume is therefore running at more than nine times spot volume.
ETF inflows reflect spot-side demand, while much of SOL’s short-term trading activity remains concentrated in derivatives. A larger futures market doesn’t determine price direction on its own, but it keeps leveraged positioning central to the setup around $100.
Onchain activity adds another mixed signal. DefiLlama shows Solana decentralized exchange volume near $1.56 billion over 24 hours, with seven-day volume up about 7.4%. Stablecoin market capitalization, by contrast, sits near $16.04 billion and is down roughly 2.3% over seven days.
The US Federal Reserve’s two-day September meeting began Tuesday, with the policy decision and press conference scheduled for Sept. 16.
