Points of Focus
- Ethereum held near $2.6K as weekly ETF inflows hit $602.94 million.
- Every oscillator now shows an upward or neutral signal, none downward.
- Cumulative ETF net inflows reached a new high of $13.85 billion.
Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $2,677.34 at the time of writing, down 0.37% intraday, as of the Sep. 25 session, steadying near $2.6K after a session high of $2,698.99.

The move lands alongside a $602.94 million weekly ETF inflow, the strongest weekly figure since late August, even as the technical picture has fully cleared of the overbought stress flagged in prior sessions.
Ethereum’s technical signals have fully cleared of downward pressure
Every oscillator now shows an upward or neutral signal, with no downward signals remaining anywhere on the page, fully resolving the stress that had been building across recent sessions.
The relative strength index sits at 62.46, comfortably below overbought territory, while Momentum (10) and the moving average convergence divergence level both carry upward signals at 279.49 and 94.15, respectively. Stochastic %K, the Commodity Channel Index (CCI), Stochastic RSI, and Williams Percent Range, all previously flagged with downward signals, now read as neutral.
The moving average stack remains almost entirely bullish, with only the 9-day Hull average still showing a downward signal at $2,722.30, slightly above the current spot price. Every other moving average tracked here, from the 10-day through the 200-day, shows an upward signal, a structure that has held steady even as the faster-reacting oscillators worked through their own extension and back out the other side.
Ethereum ETF inflows post their strongest week since August
The week ending Sep. 18 broke a run of positive weeks with a $140 million net outflow. That outflow did not extend into a longer decline. The following week, ending Sep. 24, closed at $602.94 million in net inflows, the largest weekly figure since late August’s $824.42 million week, built on four consecutive positive daily sessions: $269.98 million on Sep. 21, $162.31 million on Sep. 22, $104.63 million on Sep. 23, and $66.01 million on Sep. 24.

Cumulative net inflows have climbed to $13.85 billion, a new high for the period covered, and total net assets across the ETF complex stand at $17.70 billion. The rebound answers the question the prior outflow week raised: rather than marking the start of a longer pullback in institutional demand, it was a single-week interruption within an otherwise resilient inflow trend.
Daily trading value alongside these flows has also picked up, with Sep. 23 alone seeing $1.18 billion in total value traded across the ETF complex, among the higher single-day totals recorded this month. Elevated trading activity alongside net inflows, rather than net inflows built on unusually thin trading, is generally the more constructive combination, since it suggests the demand behind the inflow figures is meeting real two-sided market activity rather than sitting on unusually light volume.
What Ethereum’s pullback means against an improving backdrop
Price itself moved in the opposite direction of both signals described above, slipping modestly even as the technical stack cleared and ETF flows posted their best week in a month. That combination is worth reading carefully rather than treated as contradictory: a small, single-session pullback inside a broader uptrend is common and does not, on its own, undercut either the technical or flow picture, since neither shows any sign of reversing alongside it.
The more useful test is whether this pullback holds as a shallow pause or develops into something larger over the next few sessions. A pause consistent with the current setup would see ETH hold above the $2,600 area while the moving average stack remains intact; a deeper break would need to show up in the oscillators reverting to downward signals or in ETF flows turning negative again, neither of which today’s data indicates.
Ethereum’s overall setup heading into the next few sessions looks stronger on the indicators that matter more than the modest daily price move alone would suggest.
