PONS hits $0.52 after Binance Alpha addition

Binance Wallet announced in an X post that PONS and FLORK were added to Binance Alpha on Sept. 2. PONS is available through Alpha 1.0, with market and limit orders supported. The addition came during a sharp run for the token, with DefiLlama data showing PONS up 271.7% over seven days and 1,873.3% over 30 days.

The price rally has come with heavy trading. DefiLlama shows $134.32 million in PONS token volume over 24 hours. Separately, the Pons launchpad processed $120.93 million in 24-hour DEX volume on Robinhood Chain, pushing its cumulative DEX volume to $719.39 million.

Pons fees top Hyperliquid, Polymarket and Fomo combined

Fresh DefiLlama data put Pons at $5.95 million in fees over 24 hours. Hyperliquid generated $2.21 million, Polymarket $1.90 million and Fomo $1.39 million. Their combined $5.50 million leaves Pons ahead by about $450,000, or 8%.

The growth extends beyond a single 24-hour window. Pons generated $28.83 million in fees over seven days and $40.84 million over 30 days. A Sept. 1 DefiLlama report said daily fees were around $150,000 when its tracked activity began on July 14, before crossing $1 million about a week later.

The fee surge also has a link to PONS token economics. DefiLlama’s methodology says around 80% of Pons V1 protocol revenue is used to buy back and burn PONS. Its latest data puts 24-hour protocol revenue at $1.11 million.

The cross-platform comparison has limits because Pons, Hyperliquid, Polymarket and Fomo serve different markets, while rolling 24-hour figures change throughout the day. The current snapshot still places Pons at $5.95 million in fees, around 8% above the three platforms combined.
