Points of Focus
- Bitcoin traded at $77,447.58 as US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $159.9 million after four straight outflow sessions.
- The inflow offset about 35% of the $462.7 million withdrawn over the previous four trading days.
- CryptoQuant sees $77,100-$80,200 as the nearest heavy onchain supply zone, with Bitcoin already trading inside it.
Bitcoin (BTC) held near $77,500 on Tuesday, trading at $77,447.58 after US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) pulled in $159.9 million and snapped a four-day outflow streak.
Monday’s inflow marked the first positive session since Sept. 4, but it offset only about 35% of the $462.7 million withdrawn over the previous four trading days.

Bitcoin ETF inflows reverse four-day selling streak
Farside data show the outflow run started with $46.6 million on Sept. 8, widened to $120.2 million on Sept. 9 and $282.7 million on Sept. 10, then slowed to $13.2 million on Sept. 11.
Monday’s $159.9 million inflow ended that sequence, while the four prior sessions still removed nearly 2.9 times as much capital as Monday brought back.

That leaves the ETF signal improved but not yet reversed on a multi-session basis. The stronger test is whether positive flows persist while Bitcoin remains below $80,000, where onchain supply is already concentrated.
CryptoQuant-verified author Darkfost flagged a similar split in a Sept. 14 X post. He said futures-market conditions have improved since late May, with Binance’s 30-day cumulative funding rate reaching 20.1%, but warned that spot demand remained weak. Monday’s ETF inflow gives the spot side one positive session after that warning, without resolving the broader demand question.

Since the end of May, conditions and overall sentiment in the futures markets have improved noticeably.

Bitcoin’s price trades inside the $77,100-$80,200 supply zone
CryptoQuant head of research Julio Moreno identified $77,100-$80,200 as the nearest heavy onchain supply zone in a recent report, where long-term holders sold as much as 539,000 BTC over a 30-day period this year. He placed the next major technical resistance near $81,700, Bitcoin’s 365-day moving average (MA).
At $77,447.58, Bitcoin is already trading inside that supply band. Fresh ETF demand is meeting an area with a documented history of selling rather than moving through open price territory, giving the $80,200 upper end more weight in the near-term setup.
Macro conditions remain another constraint. A Reuters poll found that 85% of economists expect the Federal Reserve to raise rates by 25 basis points this week, while interest rate futures price close to a 90% probability of a hike.
The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield also reached 5.01% on Monday. The Fed decision is due Sept. 16.
